Triple Reuse

In April 2016, 3 trade fairs opened in succession and a series of welcome installations were required to mark the entrance of the venue. Apart from each fair having its own unique identity, onsite construction wastage had to be kept to a minimal for each transformation. A mobile truck was morphed into 3 different themes to suit the related trade fair; futuristic transporter, European mobile flower shop and pop-up candy stall, offering a more sustainable approach to creativity.

Dinosaurs Among Us

Dinosaurs Among Us reveals that dinosaurs are not so extinct after all. Recent research shows that dinosaurs’ evolutionary legacy lives on in birds. We seek to put a fresh twist on the ancient topic on dinosaurs with new research linking dinosaurs to birds. The exhibition’s bold colors, quirky quadrilateral shapes, and plentiful interactives contrast against the realistic Dinosauria models and authentic fossils to create a striking, thought-provoking environment.

Central Rat Race

The project was a charity race by making use of streets, footbridges and walkways of commercial buildings, which had a relay of 8 legs to symbolize the rat race of white collars in a city. The race was designed as a mini-scene recreation of the corporate ladder from graduate to senior executive. The relay reflected the trials and tribulations of the breakneck corporate environment. Another gimmick was two large-scale fitness games in the form of a rat running wheel and a rat trap set up in the heart of CBD for the public to experience what was like a rat.

The Pulse of New Talent showcase captures the essence of youthful excitement, energy and self-expression through the fresh lens of 14 distinct personalities culled from six countries representing an exciting, international world view. The 20 piece collection features inspired and inventive designs; from a visionary visor and imaginative tops and jackets, to youthful swimwear and architecturally inspired outerwear and accessories including bags.

Be a Changi Millionaire Grand Draw

Visual Studio had the opportunity to design for Changi Airport Singapore, the 'Be a Changi Millionaire' grand draw event which happened to be during Singapore's jubilee celebration year. The theme selected was call 'SG50' which means celebration the nation's 50th birthday. The set up and designs are inspire by every aspect of a typical Singaporean life drawing back its relation to the theme.

Salon de TE

An introductory space design of 1900m2 was required, before visitors explored the 145 international watch brands within the Salon de TE. To capture the visitor’s imagination of luxury lifestyle and romance a “Deluxe Train Journey” was developed as the main concept. To create dramatization the reception concourse was converted into a daytime station theme juxtaposed with the interior hall’s evening train platform scene with life-size train carriage windows emitting storytelling visuals. Lastly, a multifunctional arena with a stage opens up to the various branded showcases.
