The Good Old Days and Pollinators Garden Showcase reflect the social transformation in China from rural living to urban community life. Inspired by the coexistence of aging residential buildings and nature, the design recreates a pocket garden that simulates an ecological restoration site amid remaining structures after relocation. Through natural planting that attracts pollinators and a multi-sensory, interactive layout, the garden becomes a street-corner retreat, blending ecological value with cultural memory and immersive experience.

Climbing Amphitheatre

"Climbing the Ladder, Party Amphitheatre" in Aiyuan Town, Jiangsu, reinterprets the traditional farming ladder as a symbol of communal engagement and cultural continuity. Through a modular system of timber frames, ladders, and tension straps, villagers actively assemble and dismantle the temporary theater. As a mobile, participatory venue for performances, films, and gatherings, it enhances social interaction, revitalizes the orchard, and integrates harmoniously with the rural landscape.

Transition

The exhibition updates the 1400 year tradition of Japanese flower arrangement, Ikebana, for contemporary spaces. It forms an environment where visitors experience floral art through multiple senses. The open layout without walls allows visitors to walk freely and view installations from various angles, replacing traditional frontal observation. Natural sunlight and responsive lighting shift throughout the day, causing the space and the living flowers to change continuously. The design turns flower viewing into an active and dynamic process.

Gateway To Future is an eye-catching outdoor exhibition that facilitates physical and virtual experiences to interweave for creating immersive experiences. The entire exhibition was designed in an intriguing, interactive, and easy-understanding manner for displaying the most outstanding developments of the sea, land, and air transport infrastructures, making Hong Kong a world city of Asia. The team pondered on the idea of integrating factual information and gaming elements to develop a hybrid chess board game built with bespoke online mobile games for visitors to play and experience.
